TCS Expands SAP Partnership to Accelerate GenAI and Cloud Adoption

TCS has deepened its longstanding partnership with SAP to accelerate enterprise-wide adoption of generative AI and cloud technologies, aiming to support large-scale business transformation for global customers.

Building on a collaboration that spans over two decades, TCS will work closely with SAP to simplify cloud migration through the ‘RISE with SAP’ initiative. This effort is geared toward streamlining the transition from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments, enhancing service management, and elevating user experiences.

“Together, we are helping organisations simplify their transformation journeys, accelerate cloud adoption, and harness the power of AI and data,” said Thomas Saueressig, member of the executive board of SAP, customer services & delivery.

As part of the expanded collaboration, TCS plans to set up an Innovation Council to focus on areas such as AI democratisation, GenAI, and automation ecosystems.

These initiatives will be supported by TCS’s Agile Innovation Cloud (AIC) framework and its global TCS Pace Port network, which spans 12 cities. The innovation hubs are designed to foster ideation, co-creation, and rapid solution development in partnership with SAP customers.

V Rajanna, president, technology, software and services at TCS, noted, “Over the past two decades, TCS and SAP have consistently delivered industry-leading solutions, empowering global enterprises on their digital transformation journeys. As we embark on the next phase, we remain committed to creating sustainable value and fostering growth for our customers. Together, we will continue to transform end-user experiences and drive innovation across the enterprise landscape.”

Vikram Karakoti, global head, enterprise solutions at TCS, added, “TCS looks forward to building on its twenty-year partnership with SAP to launch an accelerated path to RISE with SAP adoption and E2E automation with GenAI.”

This comes right after Infosys launched an AI-driven suite, Infosys Topaz for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, to support enterprises in transitioning to SAP’s cloud-based ERP platform. The offering integrates generative AI into every stage of digital transformation.

Built on Infosys’ cloud framework, the suite includes industry-specific pre-built solutions and implementation guides, aiming to accelerate SAP S/4HANA Cloud adoption and operational modernisation.
