LTIMindtree Signals Growth for Mid-Size Indian IT with 11% Q1 Profit Rise

LTIMindtree reported a revenue increase of 0.7% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and 7.6% year-on-year, reaching ₹9,840.6 crore, while net profit rose 11.2% QoQ to ₹1,254.6 crore, for the first quarter that ended on June 30.

The operating margin improved 50 basis points to 14.3%.

“We had a promising start to the year delivering broad-based growth, expanding margins, and making significant progress on our strategic priorities,” Venu Lambu, CEO and managing director of LTIMindtree, said. He attributed the growth to ongoing sales transformation, the adoption of AI, and operational discipline. 

“While the macroeconomic environment remains challenging, I’m confident that our disciplined execution and unwavering client focus will continue to drive our performance,” he added.

Client Metrics and Hiring Remain Stable

The company reported 741 active clients as of June 30, with 404 contributing over $1 million in revenue. The number of clients in the $10 million+ and $50 million+ categories rose to 90 and 14, respectively. 

The total headcount stood at 83,889, with attrition over the trailing 12 months at 14.4%. Utilisation, excluding trainees, was reported at 88.1%.

LTIMindtree secured several large deals in the quarter, including a multi-service contract from a US-based oil and gas major, a transformation engagement with a European financial institution, and an AI-led IT services mandate from a global agribusiness firm. 

It also signed deals with a Middle Eastern digital firm, a Nordic recycling organisation, a utility company, and a foreign government entity for digital tax modernisation.

Recognition for Partnerships and AI-Focused Growth

During the quarter, LTIMindtree was recognised by multiple partners. It was named the ‘Google Partner of the Year 2025 for Industry Solutions in Manufacturing’ for the second consecutive year and recognised as a premier partner for AWS’ RAPID GenAI assessment programme. 

Microsoft honoured it with the ‘Diversity in Security’ award, while Databricks named it the ‘Business Transformation Partner of the Year’ at the 2025 Data + AI Summit.

Additional accolades included the ‘FY25 India Partner of the Year’ title from Boomi and Snowflake’s ‘Manufacturing & Industrials Data Cloud Services Partner of the Year’ award.
