AI voice technology firm ElevenLabs has partnered with e-commerce platform Meesho to enable real-time multilingual customer support, managing over 60,000 customer calls each day through an AI-powered voice agent.
Built using ElevenLabs’ Text to Speech technology, the solution offers support in both Hindi and English. The deployment addresses Meesho’s need for a scalable and intuitive voice interface, particularly for users in tier 2 and 3 cities across India.
“Our goal was to create a voice experience that truly feels human, and ElevenLabs helped us achieve that,” said Siddharth Gupta, GM – New Initiatives, Meesho. “The clarity, warmth, and tone of the voice played a key role in building trust with our users at scale.”
Siddharth Srinivasan, who leads GTM India at ElevenLabs, said the collaboration reflects a broader shift in how businesses engage users.
“Voice AI is changing how businesses in India interact with their customers,” he said. “Meesho’s deployment shows what’s possible when multilingual, natural-sounding speech becomes the interface; not just for convenience, but for trust.”
The AI voicebot has shown high reliability during peak loads, with pilot tests indicating improvements in user engagement. ElevenLabs worked closely with Meesho to integrate the system quickly and tune the experience to match customer expectations.
With access to different voice options, Meesho was able to adapt the system to suit a range of use cases and customer profiles. For digital-first platforms, voice-based AI is increasingly seen as a key interface for support, helping improve accessibility and streamline engagement at scale.
Recently, Meesho also open-sourced several core components of its machine learning platform, BharatMLStack. These include the feature store, control plane, orchestration UI, and various software development kits (SDKs).
