Bain & Company has entered into a strategic partnership with AI Aspire, the advisory firm founded by AI researcher and entrepreneur Andrew Ng, to help global enterprises scale artificial intelligence across their operations.
The collaboration combines Bain’s sector expertise and experience in AI deployment with Ng’s work in AI and machine learning. The partnership is positioned to support organisations in moving beyond pilot projects to drive enterprise-level outcomes.
“AI is the most transformative technology of our generation—and realising its full potential requires both cutting-edge technical thinking and practical execution at scale,” said Chuck Whitten, senior partner and global head of Bain & Company’s digital capabilities. “That’s what Bain does best. We’re thrilled to welcome Andrew Ng—one of the foremost minds in AI—to our team, joining forces with our 1,500 AI and digital practitioners to help clients move from experimentation to enterprise-wide impact.”
Ng, who is also the founder of DeepLearning.AI, said the partnership is about helping companies make AI part of core business strategy.
“I’m thrilled to partner with Bain & Company to make the best AI thinking accessible to leaders around the world,” he said. “Companies that lack a thoughtful, strategic approach to AI risk falling far behind their competitors. This partnership is about equipping organizations to lead—not follow.”
Bain has reported a marked increase in demand for AI-driven business transformation across sectors. At present, technology- and AI-related work accounts for nearly 30% of the firm’s revenue, a figure expected to grow to 50% in the coming years.
The partnership will leverage Bain’s AI, Insights, and Solutions practice, which includes more than 1,500 professionals across data, analytics, machine learning, technology architecture, and organisational development.
These teams work closely with Bain’s industry practices to provide end-to-end support—from strategy through implementation.
This move also builds on Bain’s existing alliances with OpenAI, Microsoft, AWS, Google, SAP, Salesforce, and IBM, further expanding its broader AI and digital ecosystem.
