Apple recorded its highest-ever revenue in India during the September 2026 quarter, driven by growth in iPhone upgrades, Mac sales and services.
CEO John Ternus confirmed the record during the company’s Q4 earnings call, although Apple did not disclose India-specific revenue or sales figures.
CFO Kevan Parekh also said that India contributed to Apple’s best fiscal year for iPhone upgrades. Mac and services revenue also reached all-time highs in India.
Parekh attributed Mac growth across developed and emerging markets to demand for the MacBook Neo and MacBook Pro.
Separately, Counterpoint Research’s latest figures, as reported by Hindustan Times, indicated that the MacBook Neo had a record sales quarter in India.
Counterpoint also reported that initial sales of the iPhone 18 Pro series in India were nearly 20% higher than those of the iPhone 17 Pro series over comparable launch periods.
Despite a year-on-year decline in Apple’s share of Indian smartphone shipments, its average selling price in the country reportedly crossed $1,000 during the quarter.
India is also becoming a larger manufacturing and export base for Apple.
The company exported $13.2 billion worth of iPhones from India between April and August, up nearly 47% year on year, according to reports. iPhones accounted for 82% of the country’s smartphone exports during that period.
Globally, Apple reported September-quarter revenue of $114.5 billion, up 12% year on year.
Net income rose 12% to $30.7 billion, while operating cash flow reached $28.1 billion. For fiscal 2026, revenue totalled approximately $479 billion, up 15%.
iPhone revenue increased 17% to $57.6 billion, Mac revenue rose 24% to $10.8 billion, and services revenue grew 10% to $31.6 billion. iPad revenue fell 10% to $6.2 billion, while wearables, home and accessories revenue declined 8% to $8.3 billion.
Apple reported a gross margin of 47.9% for the quarter but expects it to fall to 45–46% in the December quarter, partly because of rising memory costs. The company also increased its manufacturing purchase commitments by $33 billion between the June and September quarters as it works to secure supply.
