Amigo, the platform for deploying clinical AI, today announced its rebrand as Concurrence. The name change reflects the company’s expanded mission of building advanced data and AI systems that health systems, biopharma companies, and public health organizations use to converge on the optimal care pathways for every patient.
“Concurrence means agreement in judgment or opinion,” said Ali Khokhar, CEO of Concurrence. “What constitutes the best care for a patient is an empirical question that can be answered when everyone has access to the right context.”
Concurrence partners with leading institutions to unify their data into a single foundation called the Health World Model, which supplies full patient context to both AI and clinicians. On top of this foundation, AI-powered workflows are deployed across the care journey, scaling the judgment of expert clinicians and enabling patient interactions to be captured at an atomic level of detail across use cases like patient intake, medication management, and clinical decision support.
From that evidence base, the Concurrence platform identifies the optimal paths from intervention to outcome, called Patient Trajectories, to surface what is most likely to work for which patients. These learnings allow health systems to optimize their operational and clinical investments, biopharma companies to improve medication adherence and accelerate R&D, and public health agencies to improve population health outcomes.
