Make, the visual automation platform, today announced the launch of Maia, a conversational co-worker for AI and automation. Maia enables users to build automations and AI agents using natural language while showing every step of the process within Make’s agentic automation canvas (its main visual workspace for building).
Maia is built directly into the Make Scenario Builder, helping users move from an idea to a working automation or AI agent faster by translating natural-language requests into fully configured workflows.

How Maia works
Maia maps the flow, selects the appropriate tools, configures modules and visually indicates the steps being completed. Throughout the build, Maia also asks clarifying questions, allowing users to review and collaborate during the process.
Automations are built step by step in Make’s visual Scenario Builder, making the logic, selected modules and mapped connections visible. This allows users to review, edit and learn from the solution as it is created, helping them build confidence while maintaining transparency and control.
Who Maia supports
New Make users
Users can describe a workflow in plain language, for example, “When a new lead is added to Salesforce, send a summary to a Slack channel”, and Maia translates the request into a configured, working automation in the Make Scenario Builder. Maia can also customize pre-built automations or AI agents from the Make library to meet specific requirements.
Experienced Make users
Maia can support the modification of existing solutions, debugging of failing steps, and review of automations or AI agents built by others.
Teams scaling AI and automation
Maia can help new team members begin building automations from day one. Automations and AI agents built with Maia run on the Make platform and are designed to be reliable, auditable and scalable for enterprise use.

Maia is available today for all Make users directly within the Make Scenario Builder.
