UiPath has expanded its India presence with a new 25,599 sq. ft. office in Bengaluru to accelerate its product development and R&D operations in the country. The company said the facility will serve as an innovation hub for its Product & Engineering (P&E) teams, which contribute nearly 25% of UiPath’s global research and development output.
The new office, located at Embassy Tech Village – Onyx, brings together product, engineering, UX design, and site reliability engineering teams. These teams will work in coordination with UiPath development centres in India, Europe, and the United States to advance updates and capabilities for the UiPath Platform.
“India is home to one of the largest UiPath developer communities globally, and our teams here play a crucial role in building and testing technologies that power our platform,” said Gautam Goenka, SVP of engineering & site head at UiPath. “This new Bangalore office provides the space and environment our developers need to collaborate, experiment, and create solutions that deliver meaningful impact for customers worldwide.”
Raghu Malpani, chief technology officer at UiPath, said the company’s operations in India are growing steadily. “Our operations in India continue to expand at an annual rate of 15–20%, reflecting the country’s growing role in our global strategy,” he said. “As we advance into the era of agentic AI, our new Bangalore office reinforces our commitment to develop technologies that are reliable, secure, and deliver tangible ROI for teams everywhere.”
The workspace includes ergonomic workstations, collaboration zones, training spaces, a game and wellness room, and a cafeteria that doubles as a social area. Sustainable design considerations include maximising natural light and using energy-efficient fixtures.
UiPath said the Bangalore office will support work on innovations such as UiPath Maestro, Data Fabric with Ontology support, UiPath Test Cloud, low-code and pro-code app development, and Human-in-the-Loop experiences through UiPath Action Centre. The India teams will also continue building industry-specific solutions that contribute to the company’s global automation strategy.
