Bengaluru-based space tech startup ULOOK Technologies has raised ₹19 crore in seed funding from growX Ventures and InfoEdge Ventures to develop autonomous satellite swarms for radio-frequency (RF) intelligence.
The funding will help the company accelerate the development of indigenous RF sensing technologies and secure commercial and defence partnerships through aerial and space demonstrations.
Founded by Siddhesh Naik and Adheesh Boratkar, ULOOK aims to strengthen India’s capabilities in space-based intelligence and spectrum awareness. The company will use the funds to expand its engineering team, advance payload testing, and prepare for the launch of its first RF-sensing satellite swarm within the next 12 to 18 months.
“We are convinced that complex deep-tech can be built right here at home, and in a far more capital-efficient way. The regulatory environment today is finally conducive for entities like ULOOK to exist and thrive,” Naik said.
ULOOK plans to direct a large portion of the new capital towards hiring engineers in RF systems, embedded systems, AI/ML analytics, and satellite mission design. Additional funds will support hardware-software integration and UAV-based testing campaigns to bring its technology from the prototype stage to deployment readiness.
Sanjeev Bikhchandani, founder of Info Edge, said the investment reflects confidence in India’s deep-tech ecosystem. “What stood out about ULOOK was the depth of its engineering, the clarity of its use cases, and the maturity of its team,” he said.
ULOOK’s proprietary payload suite, PulseTrack, delivers real-time RF situational awareness across satellites, drones and high-altitude platforms, enabling applications in maritime surveillance, disaster response and environmental monitoring.
Manish Gupta, partner at growX ventures, added that ULOOK’s work represents “a commitment to sovereign innovation that can achieve lasting global relevance”. Boratkar added that the company is building “from India for the world” and is focused on developing world-class capabilities aligned with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
With this funding, ULOOK joins a growing group of Indian space tech ventures developing advanced technologies for global markets.
