Kenneth Ang, talent partner at OpenAI, shared the update on LinkedIn, stating that the company is also hiring for a similar role in Seoul, South Korea. “We’re hiring in India (Bangalore) and South Korea (Seoul)! The Bengaluru-based position is part of OpenAI’s Go-To-Market efforts aimed at helping early-stage companies build products using OpenAI’s models and infrastructure. The Solutions Architect will work closely with startup founders to help them move from idea to prototype to scale.

The company said the role is critical in bridging its technology with the local startup scene. “You’ll be a bridge between OpenAI’s technology and the most ambitious startup founders — guiding them as they integrate AI into real-world products, shape new markets, and define what’s possible,” the post said.
OpenAI’s expansion into Bengaluru marks a growing focus on India’s fast-evolving AI ecosystem. The company has not yet announced how many positions it plans to fill or whether other roles will open in the country.
