Cognizant has announced a strategic partnership with WRITER, an enterprise-focused agentic AI platform, to help global companies build and deploy secure, domain-specific AI agents at scale. The collaboration aims to support industries like financial services and life sciences, where compliance and security are crucial.
This partnership brings together Cognizant’s global industry expertise and WRITER’s proprietary AI platform, enabling businesses to move from pilot projects to full-scale AI adoption. The goal is to streamline operations, support better decision-making, and boost competitiveness.
“WRITER’s enterprise-grade agent stack gives us a powerful foundation to build and scale agentic solutions that are deeply contextual, secure, and aligned to business outcomes,” said Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant.
WRITER’s platform is built on its own Palmyra models, which are tuned for business needs and supported by a secure knowledge retrieval system. This system ensures that AI agents provide accurate, context-aware information from enterprise data—especially valuable for complex environments like healthcare and finance.
“Enterprises are rapidly moving beyond the experimentation phase into full-blown execution at scale – and they need systems that are accurate, secure, and built for that complexity,” said May Habib, CEO and co-founder of WRITER.
As part of the partnership, Cognizant will offer pre-built and custom AI agents powered by WRITER’s Agent Builder. Clients will also receive support services, including training, change management, and guidance on responsible AI practices.
This move complements Cognizant’s broader agentic AI strategy and its Agent Foundry framework, which helps clients design and manage AI agents across different business functions.
