Sarvam Launches Samvaad for Enterprises to Build AI Agents in 11 Indic Languages

Sarvam has introduced Sarvam Samvaad, a conversational AI platform aimed at enabling enterprises to quickly build, test, and deploy AI agents that understand and communicate in 11 Indian languages.

According to the LinkedIn post by the company, the platform supports customer interactions across telephone, WhatsApp, web, and mobile applications. It is equipped to accurately interpret complex phrases, alphanumerics, and proper nouns, while also providing insights from conversations in real time.

Sarvam Samvaad is designed for rapid scaling, offering pricing models tailored for Indian businesses. According to the company, the platform enables brands to move from pilot projects to production-grade deployment within days.

Sarvam says several leading Indian enterprises are already using Samvaad at scale.

Sarvam recently also launched Sarvam-Translate, an open-weights translation model fine-tuned on Gemma3-4B-IT, supporting 22 Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Assamese, and Manipuri.

Unlike generic multilingual models, Sarvam-Translate is optimised for long-form translation across formats such as LaTeX documents, HTML web pages, and OCR-processed files, maintaining structural and syntactic integrity.

One of the first companies to be selected under the IndiaAI Mission to build India’s sovereign foundational LLM, Sarvam AI recently released Sarvam-M, a 24-billion parameter open-weights hybrid language model built on top of Mistral Small.

A breakthrough for Indic AI researchers to build use cases, the model supports 10 different Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, and Malayalam, among others.
