Google has launched a three-month accelerator programme for AI-first startups based in India, targeting those between Seed to Series A stages, that are building core AI products, applications or foundational models.
The selected startups will receive expert mentorship and support around AI, including generative AI, cloud, Android, web, product, design leadership and growth.
Nawgati, BigOHealth, DeepVisionTech.AI, Dot9 Games, FitBuddy, FrontPage, GenWise, GoSats, Highbrow Interactive, Kindlife, LetsEndorse, MySivi, QuitSure, Sub-K, Sunfox, Testline, TimePass, TrueFan AI and Vidyakul are the 20 startups selected for the programme.
The selection criteria for companies focused on startups based in India that are between Seed and Series A stages, show traction and develop scalable products within large total addressable markets.
Priority was given to those leveraging advanced technologies like machine learning and AI, especially core AI products or unique generative AI applications with potential Google AI use cases.
Over the last decade, the Google for Startups Accelerator programme has supported over 230 Indian startups. This year, it is expanding the partnership with the MeitY Startup Hub to bring advanced AI to early-stage companies, including through new programmes like the agentic AI roadshows and masterclass, and a genAI startup buildathon with partners like Nasscom.
During the programme, Google will support startups in achieving the objectives by providing access to our global network, one-on-one mentorship and virtual sessions on demand. Each startup is paired with a Startup Success Manager from Google to maximise their resources.
Graduating startups will showcase their progress during an in-person demo day with Google teams, mentors, VCs and stakeholders from the Indian startup ecosystem.
“This opportunity will not only accelerate our technological evolution but also sharpen our ability to create value for fuel station owners, fleet operators and everyday consumers,” said Vaibhav Kaushik, CEO and cofounder of fuel-tech startup Nawgati, one of the selected firms.
